Mississippi Nine Ball

Submitted by sessyargc

Here's how to setup a game of Mississipi Nine Ball. The cue balls' starting position should be approximately anywhere within the boxed area.

All 9-Ball rules apply.I havent tried the game myself so i can't give a hint for a run-out. Maybe you can give me a hint :-) Enjoy!

It seems like you could finish it in one shot. Shoot the 1 ball in the side with a lot of low left, and hope to catch the 9 ball in the lower corner pocket.

For a complete run, I would shoot 1 in side, and hope to come back of the end rail for the 2 in the corner. Cue left in the middle shoot the 3 with draw to leave a 4 shot in corner. This leave you want to come back to bottom rail, and try to make a straight shot at the 5 in the corner. Leave for your 6 in the corner with some nice draw. 6 plays in the corner with natural leave bringing you back uptable for the 7. The key is to leave cue about halfway down table to keep your cut angle steep enough to come back up table for the last shots. This same method is used to come back up the table for the final shots on 8 and 9.
