Chris Abaya is the owner and author of Easy Pool Tutor. Easy Pool Tutor was started in July 2000 to promote the sport of pool and billiards by providing free online lessons about how to play the game.

Before Easy Pool Tutor went online, pool and billiards instruction on the internet was not widely distributed and definitely  not offered free of charge. Easy Pool Tutor pioneered the sharing of this information freely to promote the sport. Since then, many organizations and individuals followed suit and began to offer information about learning the game publicly on the internet.

Easy Pool Tutor continues to provide an online resource for free pool and billiards instructions and will continue to support this sport.
