9 Ball World Championship Qualifying Event in Leicester

2004 World Pool Championships logoThe BPPPA are pleased to announce that a qualifying event for the final stages of the World Championship will be held at Rileys Leicester on 26th - 27th June. This event will be the last chance to qualify for the most prestigious event in the sport before the final run of qualifying events in Taiwain the week before the championships. The winner of the Leicester event will also receive £1250 to cover the costs of flights and accommodation (cash figure based on field of 64).

The WPA 9 Ball Pool World Championships takes place this year on 10th - 18th July at the World Trade Centre in Taipei City. It will be broadcast live throughout Asia and highlights broadcast in the UK by Sky Sports. The Leicester qualifier will be competing against the world's finest cuemen for a share of the $350,000 prize fund. The first prize is $75,000.

The Leicester event is open to all comers, with a discounted entry fee for BPPPA members who have previously played in at least one BPPPA ranking tournament.
