Bargo Sports Bar and Restaurant( View reviewed item ) After the other better pool hall in Libis closed, i began regularly playing at Bargo.
TABLES: 5/10
The tables are too close to each other! the tables of the eating patrons are also positioned very near the pool tables. most of the tables need more tender loving care (TLC)! (as of last Sept, 2003, one of the tables have a ripped cloth above the footspot!) the balls are chipped! spotters are also waiters, so you have to wait for a rerack (you should know how to rack the balls by now anyway!)
FOOD: 7/10
Iced tea is bottomless until 10PM. food is good. pricey.
AMBIENCE: 7/10
Too noisy! many nice ladies every now and then :)
PARKING: 8/10
Eastwood is one big parking lot! though parking is pricey :(
So given the place's low score why do i still play there you may ask? if you're addicted you sometimes try to hide the bad things. also there is no pool hall near Eastwood, that i know of, as an alternative. (there will be one soon :) )
